20L waterproof rolltop made by Ortlieb for Finisterre. Constructed from durable, coated ballistic nylon it is seriously hard-wearing and abrasion-resistant. It also has a welded construction which provides the best possible waterproofing.
The front pocket secures with a zip and the roll-top fastening on the main compartment can roll either way, secured with big plastic buckles on the sides of the bag. Waist and chest straps and a thickly-padded back make long jaunts and heavy loads more comfortable.
Should you manage to wear anything out, a lot of the components are replaceable.
